‘Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns’ news: A casual game for anyone

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns” is a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game which should be interesting to check out. While MMO games were believed to be primarily made for the hardcore and veteran gamers, this is one which should be worth playing even for the beginners.

Adventures are a given and aiming to complete certain objectives is to be expected. And after watching that video where “Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns” was demonstrated over at Rezzed, the new game does look entirely appealing and something any gamer may want to try out.

For those who are unfamiliar, the game tells about the world of Tyria where the iconic hero Rytlock makes a return after mysteriously vanishing after chasing a weapon to end the curse of the Foefire and drive away the ghosts of Ascalon.

The hero returns with a whole new set of abilities. Along with his return marks the introduction of a new craft called Revenant. The said profession channels powers from the game’s legendary heroes which seems pretty interesting to take on.

A new map will replace the previous Borderlands map. Game Designer Tyler Bearce explains that the new map should account new world vs. world experience, not to mention providing players something new to explore.

Newbies playing the game? MMO games are definitely no fun if veterans are the only ones left trying to explore and enjoy the action. Well this time around, new players can get into the act as the game makes the necessary tweaks that allow them to make their own small contributions in-game.

Remember that when you talk about guilds, it is all about teams trying to accomplish a certain goal or quest. And while vets are expected to take the lead and show off how to handle battles with adversaries such as Wyverns, some help even from noobs will always go a long way.
